Ride to Cure Diabetes Information
The Ride to Cure Diabetes is a destination ride with variable distances and levels of difficulty. Our team’s coach, Mike Clark of Velo City Cycles, will help you train for the event while the staff will help you succeed in raising funds. Everything is provided to support you in this rewarding endeavor.
The money you raise covers roundtrip airfare to the location, three nights hotel accommodation, bike transportation and maintenance during the trip, Ride to Cure Diabetes jersey, team t-shirt, finishers t-shirt, and scheduled training rides. And one more important thing – fun!
Last year, the West Michigan team had 26 participants in its first year. Our team has now grown to 60 riders; the second largest Ride to Cure Diabetes team in the country!
